Lieutenant Joseph Szczerba, an 18 year veteran of the New Castle County Police Department and a 1985 graduate of Salesianum School, was killed in the line of duty on September 16, 2011. To honor his legacy, Salesianum has established a scholarship in his name. All proceeds of your sponsorship and the 5k Run/ Walk will benefit this endowment forever keeping Joe's Memory alive.
